Anson J. Tsugawa, DVM
Dr. Anson Tsugawa graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Following graduation, he completed a one-year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital (Akron, OH) and a three-year residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of California-Davis, Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. In 2002, Dr. Tsugawa returned to the University of Pennsylvania as a Lecturer in Dentistry.
Dr. Tsugawa is currently an associate veterinarian at California Animal Hospital. His clinical and research interests include surgical oral oncology, maxillofacial fracture repair, jaw reconstruction and dentomaxillofacial radiology. Dr. Tsugawa became board-certified in veterinary dentistry (DAVDC) in 2005.
