Benoit Charette , DVM
Dr. Benoit Charette completed his D.V.M. at the University of Montreal in 1993. After an internship in 1994, he worked in general practice for 3 years. He then returned to his Alma Mater to complete a Master’s degree and a residency in small animal surgery. He remained at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal as an associate professor for 1 year. Dr. Charette moved to the Chicago area in a referral practice until October 2004.
Since October 2004, he has been an associate veterinarian at California Animal Hospital. His interests are neurosurgery (including brain surgery), fracture repair, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Charette became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in February, 2003.
