Veronique Sammut, DVM

Dr. Veronique Sammut graduated from the University of Montreal, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She did an internship in small animal practice in 1998 followed by a one year period as a clinical instructor in anesthesiology at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the University of Montreal. Dr. Sammut studied as a resident in Neurology in Montreal from 1999 to 2002.
Following her residency, Dr. Sammut worked at The Veterinary Specialty Center, a private referral practice in Chicago, for 2 years. Upon completion of her research project on canine brain tumors she was awarded her Master's Degree. Dr. Sammut joined the California Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2004. Her main clinical and research interests include brain tumors, seizure disorders, spinal diseases and neuromuscular problems. Dr. Veronique Sammut became a board-certified member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM), specialty of Neurology in 2002.
